Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic solution of water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is widely used in laboratory settings as a solvent for diluting or dissolving research compounds prior to use in controlled experiments.
